Raven's Powers (Part Four)

PART FOUR: UNCOMMONLY USED POWERS
ASTRAL-LIKE BODY: Raven can perform a feat somewhat like astral projection. She sits midair in a cross-legged sitting position and allows a dark-energy version of her with no visible face except for glowing eyes rise forth from her. This projection can manage to phase through things and, at minimum, alter their consciousness. When finished, it merges back into Raven. She's also been seen traveling somewhere beyond the normal Earth dimension (possibly the astral plane) in this form.

HEALING: Raven has the power to reduce the severity of an injury. It's seen being accomplished by her holding her glowing hand or hands over the harmed area, though how it works isn't stated. She also has the ability to go into a coma-like trance to heal her own wounds.

PSYCHIC CONTACT: Raven has a sort of clairvoyance that allows her to know if someone else is near or not.

REMOTE VIEWING AND INFLUENCING: Raven can use a sort of remote viewing and influencing technique. First, she levitates beneath her cloak, saying "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" with a special drawn-out emphasis on "Zinthos" as her eyes begin glowing white. A sort of mental-projection dark-energy raven then emits from her which can scout someone out and let her into their mind to see and feel as they do and let her communicate with them, even causing their eyes to look as hers.

PREMONITION: Raven can sometimes see erratic, quick premonitory visions unintentionally, possibly through human contact.

PETRIFYING RAGE: Raven can induce strong terror in others through some sort of self-altering or hallucination-illusion technique. After one instance in the episode "Nevermore", Raven refers to it saying, "something got loose. Something bad.", and in response to further questioning, she says, "Let's just say I have issues with my father." Later, when she's traveling within her mind, she confronts a part within herself disguised as Trigon, which says "Rage shall consume you." These quotes suggests that these occurrences could be connected with her suppressed "dark side" (as she mentioned in the episode "The End (Part I)") getting loose, meaning her demonic genes and perhaps her emotions are probably the cause of these outbursts. Sometimes she'll impress upon her enemy that she has a horrific head adorned with slithering tentacles, sharp teeth, and horns; has four glowing, red eyes with an optional, disproportionally long body of which is engulfed in dark-energy flames; or can even drag them into her long, waving cloak by black tentacles that protrude from it which take them somewhere utterly dark and petrifying as she watches through glowing, red eyes and smiles a sharp-toothed grin.

PETRIFYING FORMS: When Raven bottles up her own unaccepted fear, she can unwittingly have nightmarish things take physical form from her mind. Some of the forms are purely of her mind, but others represent things that personally frighten her, such as a monster from a horror movie.

TRANSPARENCY EFFECT: Raven can layer an area in dark-energy to reveal its full, concealed layout through a transparent, x-ray effect it causes. This may actually be more of a side-effect that occurs when scanning a surrounding for a suitable article, though it's hard to say.

CURSE LIFTING: Though it's never actually shown being accomplished successfully, Raven can likely lift curses weak enough, as she's seen trying to lift one that ends up too strong for her power.

TIME FREEZING: Raven can unintentionally freeze time -- a power she didn't even know she was capable of. With time frozen, she can then choose specific people (and possibly objects) to unfreeze.

POWER SHARE: Raven can imbue others with some of her power, allowing them an undetermined amount of usage. The process is seen being executed through electrical-like dark-energy bolts that stream into others and cause pain and eventual unconsciousness. The given power can seemingly be returned through touch.

EXORCISING : Of all the powers Raven has been shown to use, the ones that are probably the hardest to interpret are at the climax of the episode "The End (Part III)". She's seen spontaneously aging (possibly indicating simply that she has returned to her normal, powered self), attacking Trigon with great, white, energy rays and bindings, and reversing the desolation he brought upon the world with a giant, white, raven-shaped energy emitted from her ajna chakra region. It's likely these aren't powers she usually has at her disposal, and were something she could only do in relation to the situation -- her newfound sense of hope being a possible cause.
